CAPO Wines opened its doors in 2009. Our winery and vineyards (with vines being on average fifteen years old) are located in a small colourful village called Fernetići, just near to the town of Brtonigla (Verteneglio), in a breath-taking region characterized by its mild climate and lush vegetation. While in Brtonigla you must not miss visiting San Rocco, one of the best boutique hotels and slow-food restaurants in Croatia. We also gather our inspiration from picturesque places such as Grožnjan (Grisignana), the town of artists, and Motovun (Montona), home to a very special film festival and hometown of Mario Andretti, the famous Formula 1/Indy Car racer. Motovun forest is situated in the valley of the river Mirna and is famous for its black and white truffles that you can enjoy in almost every Istrian restaurant. If you prefer the Sea or a game of golf, Umag (Umago) and Savudrija are just 15min by car from our winery, so there is something for every taste.
